Project Gallery: March Formula Two Racecar Restoration
Accurate replica body panels fabricated in lightweight carbon fiber.
Preform Resources was commissioned to recreate a body for a derelict 1982 March "822".
Neat car, modern enough to have a full aerodynamic package.
On jack stands in the Preform Resources workshop, being fitted with an undertray.
Rebuilding and straightening out a polyester body isn't easy,
plus we had to add new sections that were missing.
The side pods that came with the car were old Formula Atlantic spec pieces. Preform Resources
was asked to recreate them and at the same time to update them to March's Formula Two specs.

been fabricated in carbon fiber composite; side pods are still under development.
The carbon/e-glass side pods fitted to the chassis.

(They continued the restoration with further mechanical work.)
